Why FlinkTab

Your phone is already a tablet.

Instead of buying a dedicated drawing tablet, FlinkTab uses the Android device sitting on your desk. Connect it to your PC and start drawing — no extra hardware, no drivers.

Features

Focused on the essentials.

Wi-Fi connection

Fast UDP connection for near real-time response over your local network.

USB mode

Wired mode for the most stable connection and lowest possible latency.

Low latency

Optimized transport keeps strokes feeling immediate while you draw.

Windows support

Run the FlinkTab Server on Windows and connect any Android device.

Minimal interface

A quiet canvas focused on the drawing itself — nothing else in the way.

Privacy-friendly

No data collected. The app only needs the network permission to work.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does FlinkTab work on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. The FlinkTab Server currently only runs on Windows. macOS and Linux support are on the roadmap.
Do I need a stylus?
You can draw with your finger, but a stylus gives much better precision. Any capacitive stylus works — active pen support with pressure is planned.
Is there any lag?
FlinkTab uses optimized UDP transport for minimal latency. Over Wi-Fi on the same network it feels responsive. USB mode is even faster.
Does it collect any data?
No. FlinkTab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The only permission it requires is network access for the tablet connection.
Is it free?
Yes. The Android app is free on Google Play and the Windows server is open source on GitHub.
Can I use it over the internet?
FlinkTab is designed for local network use for the best latency. Remote connections would add significant delay and are not recommended.
